Northern Illinois University is a premier institution of higher education located in DeKalb, IL. SpearMC has developed a mutual partnership with the College of Business and Department of Accounting at NIU, which ranked as the #10 program nationwide in Public Accounting Report's annual survey of accounting programs in 2009. SpearMC also sponsors a SpearMC Consulting Accounting Scholarship. This scholarship is geared towards graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in Management Information Systems. Marcus Bode from SpearMC also serves as a member of the College of Business Executive Advisory Council.
